Marcy Moriarty became involved in education because of her own passion for learning and the genuine fulfillment that comes with helping and serving others to learn and reach their potential. Her education includes a bachelors in Elementary Education with a reading endorsement and a masters degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in the arts. Marcy’s interest in child development led her to teaching primary level children for thirty years in the Montana public school system, the last three of which were in the role of Title1/Response to Intervention coordinator.
After retiring from the public school system, Marcy served as director of professional development with an educational service agency. Marcy believes the field of education is ever changing because caring people are always looking for a way to help children achieve success. She finds that consulting work is an avenue to share knowledge, problem solve and provide encouragement for teachers. Working with Side-by-Side Educational Consulting has allowed Marcy to work with passionate, experienced and knowledgeable educators who collectively make a difference in the lives of young people. Currently, Marcy lives in Bozeman, MT. She enjoys camping, reading and spending time with her family. When consulting in the rolling plains of Eastern Montana, Marcy is able to help at her Mom’s farm.
